What we actually run
Every healthcare company says it uses AI. Rather than repeat that, here is the software that is running today — and, separately, the software that is not.
Running today
Lumen, the corporate secretary
A corporation generates a steady trickle of paper that somebody has to read, file and act on. Lumen does the first two and drafts the third.
Lumen reads the company’s mail. It separates what matters from what does not, files the real documents against the corporate record, keeps track of the filings and deadlines a corporation is accountable for, and once a day sends a single summary of what arrived and what needs a decision.
When something wants an answer, Lumen writes a draft — after searching the company’s own records rather than working from memory — and leaves it for a person to send. It has never sent anything on its own, and it is not built to. When it is unsure it says so and files the item for review instead of guessing; the rule it runs on is that a real document wrongly hidden is worse than a piece of junk mail sitting in a folder somebody has to glance at.
It also drafts the governance documents a new corporation needs — a general by-law, the organizational resolution, the register of individuals with significant control — and marks every one of them as a draft for counsel. That is the honest description of what it is for: it does the first draft, and a lawyer does the part that matters.
Running today
A record you can ask questions of
Filing something is only half of it. The other half is finding it two years later, during the week it matters.
Everything the company has filed — incorporation documents, resolutions, the lease, correspondence — is indexed and searchable in plain language. Asking what was agreed about the fixturing period returns the paragraph and the document it came from, instead of a folder to go and dig through.

What we are still building
The labels matter more than the list does, so here they are honestly. None of these is running today. When one is, it moves up this page.
A patient app with live wait times and one-tap refills
Designed, not built.
Inventory forecasting across sites
Designed, not built — and not worth much until there is more than one site.
A 24-hour pickup locker at 231 Dundas
In the plan for the space, not installed.
A compounding service other pharmacies can order from
An idea for later, and it depends on our own lab being busy first.
