Two businesses, one building

Kind Health Group owns two operating businesses at 231 Dundas St E in Toronto. They are separate corporations, with separate records and separate regulators. What they share is a building, a front step, and a deliberately short walk between them.

Kind Pharmacy

A community pharmacy with a compounding lab, so that a prescription that has to be made rather than counted is made in the building rather than referred out.

Where
231 Dundas St E, ground floor — Toronto, ON M5A 1Z6
Status
Applied to the Ontario College of Pharmacists for accreditation. It cannot dispense until that is granted.

The disclosure

You are not obliged to use both

Kind Clinic and Kind Pharmacy are separate businesses under common ownership. You can fill your prescription anywhere.

Two businesses under one owner, in one building, that refer to each other, have an obvious incentive to keep people inside the building. So the arrangement gets said out loud rather than left to be noticed: a prescription written at Kind Clinic can be filled at any pharmacy, and a person who walks into Kind Pharmacy is under no obligation to become a patient of Kind Clinic.

Both child sites carry the same sentence. It appears in the footer of every page on this one too, because this is the entity that owns both of them and therefore the one with the most reason to say it.

Who runs the group

A short list, and no titles we cannot back

Roles are printed where they are confirmed. Where they are not, the person is named and nothing more.

At the group level the person named is Elancheliyan Ambalavanar. No professional designation appears beside his name here, because none has been confirmed for publication. The two operating businesses are run by the people on their cards above: Amir Khela, the pharmacist responsible for Kind Pharmacy, registered with the Ontario College of Pharmacists as 624460, with Vyshagh “Yash” Anchery; and Oliver Loi-Koe and Yuang Chen at Kind Clinic.

No other registration numbers appear on this site. A College number is a regulated identifier tied to a specific person and a specific scope of practice, and publishing one that has not been verified is a problem of a different kind from a typo — so only the one that has been verified is here.
